William and his team has saved me from loosing my mind and literally going broke every month trying to pay everything after a divorce. I initially researched and contacted several attorneys before deciding on William. I selected him because I was able to meet with him in person and not a staff member, his cost was the most affordable, and he explained everything to me. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because once I emailed the same information a few times and did not get a response which was very unusual as William himself usually responds fairly quickly even when he was on vacation. His response would be something simple like "got it" but at least it was a response. In this particular instance, I emailed a 3rd time with the same info and asked why wasn't I getting a response. He responded to that one was in what I believe was a very rude way, no apology for not responding he just basically told me what I was requesting wasn't important at that time. He told me it was the end of the month and they had to close out well I DO NOT WORK THERE, I didn't know they had "end of the month" and can't respond to emails. Other than that they were great.Update to owner's response:I NEVER asked to have any services done for free, may you need to re-read my response I said your services were great however you were rude in your response which you were. If you decided not to charge then say that but don't portray that I asked you give me something for free, besides how can I not pay you when I'm billed for your services. I can attach your email response if you like. Like I said you telling me it's the end of the month and you didn't have time was not necessary a simple response to say you received it would have been sufficient enough. So for 1) I see you get defensive with a true review and 2) You can't own up to your mistake and fault, sorry I didn't give you a 5-star but you don't deserve it from me.

I met William Collins for a consultation meeting. My case for bankruptcy was a little more complex, and in the end, he suggested I wait a bit longer to file. So instead of immediately trying to lock me down as a client, he put my best interest first. He even went as far to continue to research the issue further and emailing me back the very next day. When I was in need of bankruptcy I went looked for a good lawyer . I need to act fast since I was getting garnishment against me I went in spoke to William Collins and went through all the needs I need to go over with him and what the pros and cons. He made sure I was doing to this all the right reasons. I got everything need in with in a month I had court date for my discharge. It was fast and very professional. William Collins and staff could absolutely not have been any better if they try. The saying is the less you hear from your lawyer, the better...they reached out to verify information and were super quick to respond when we had any questions (day or night) but they handled almost everything on their end and didn’t need to involve us in every little step, which I really appreciated. William Collins handles my Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. I was able to make an appointment online. He started the paperwork during that first appointment and made everything very easy. He arranged a payment plan for the cost, while a previous attorney had expected the whole cost up front. He prepared me for all the questions that would be asked at the 341 meeting and was there early to explain what would happen. Those were the only 2 times I had to meet with him, otherwise I was able to send paperwork and scanned bills via email. He always replied promptly to emails and answered any questions I had.

When my husband and I first decided that me might need to file bankruptcy, we were embarrassed. I reached out to Collins & Arnove for more information and they replied promptly. I met William in person and we reviewed our situation. He was very kind and informative and made us feel at ease and less embarrassed. The process was smooth, painless, and fast. That was back in 2017 and we followed his advice with immediately getting a secured credit card and paying it off every month and continued to make our car payments on time. Here we are May 2019 and my credit score is almost 700. Bankruptcy sucks but the hardest part is admitting to yourself that it’s your best option.
